What this means to you, is that we can take you on your complete eye care journey, from clinical assessment and diagnosis, to clinical management and prescribing where necessary.

Examples of conditions that can be treated at the Practice include:

  • Allergic / Bacterial / Viral Conjunctivitis
  • Dry Eye
  • Blepharitis
  • Foreign Body Removal
  • Eye lash removal (trichiasis)
  • Herpes Simplex Keratitis (recurring episodes of)
  • Styes
  • Marginal Keratitis
  • Corneal abrasion
  • Trauma
  • Anterior Uveitis (recurring episodes of)

Our IP qualified optometrists are able to prescribe medication for a number of different eye conditions, this is especially convenient for clients booking emergency eye appointments, as it can eliminate the need for you to be referred to your GP / hospital eye department for a prescription.

Approximately 95% of our clients can be seen and treated, with around only 5% requiring further referral to the hospital eye service.
